21 Day Eco- Revolution Challenge – Day 1

July 29th, 2010

I woke up very early this morning at 2 am and sat bolt up in bed feeling an overwhelming sense of  ‘there is no time to waste’, I must act now and it is critical that everyone understands the importance of our connection with nature. I ask my self often; are we as human beings,  ready to step up, take charge and lead the way to a more connected life with nature and really understand the importance it plays in our lives.. or will we wait for someone else to fix it and mindlessly keep using chemicals to poison our homes, families waterways and wilderness.  Well .. I am putting the question to the test….Today I launched a 21 day ENJO Eco- Revolution Challenge….where over 200 people will have the chance to step up and lead the challenge.  My challenge is to engage as many people as possible to experience another way of living, to be wide awake, understand the impact of their choices and the impact it has on them, the planet and nature. My challenge is to showcase an amazing chemical free, micro fibre cleaning system called ENJO to as many passionate people as I can. Their challenge is to learn and share their discovery of choosing in a connected state and not in a auto state as most of us do most of the time, never mindfull of the impact of our actions.

I came up with the challenge idea, to be short, quick action oriented and the results of choosing to look  after our planet and the immediate impact you have is really easy to ‘get’.. and that you ‘get’ that one persons actions do count, and collectively we can, save our nature, save our planet.. and save ourselves. I figured 21 days was long enough to get a challenge humming, and short enough to create URGENCY…So the challenge is on; 21 days, 21 hosts, 21 cleaning demos, 210 micro fibre and water based cleaning systems replacing toxic chemicals in 210 homes and  210 trees being planted for every person who takes a part and makes a difference. ‘

For me, it feels like heaps of fun for those who are ready to take the challenge to discover more about themselves and the choices they make and the impact it has.. and how that all feels, so they can choose the next action. My hope is that after 21 days at least 200 people have had a chance to experience a new way of living and cleaning their homes and offices …with out chemicals and discover a new way of doing things that is less about consuming and more about living…maybe even more time will be spent in nature.. I hope so. It is only then that I feel truly at home and alive, free  safe and powerful. Nature is that catalyst for us all.. a reminder of our own deep seated connection to all things perfect.

I will keep you posted to let you know the stories along the way of how people have remembered who they are, how connected they are to nature and how they can live a different way that does not harm the planet, but nutures the very thing that allows us to inhabit and live on the Earth as we know. It is time to step up and take care of our childrens future.. lets see how easy we can create change in 21 days.. GAME ON..
